Fifty Shades of Green and the Emerald Isle Conference

Ireland is known as the Emerald Isle because of its vibrant green colors throughout the countryside, especially in the Spring. Dublin is a wonderful origination point for an excursion throughout Ireland, as international flights from North America and Europe arrive regularly. Once you are in Dublin, getting around to the rest of the country is pretty straightforward, especially if you are driving. You won't need a car while in Dublin, but picking up a rental car on your last day in Dublin opens up the entire countryside to your vacation.

Our host hotel, Buswells Hotel is in the historic center of Dublin, close to Trinity College, the Temple Bar area, and within 10 minutes walking distance to most of the major sights in Dublin. ⭐We will begin our meeting in Dublin Ireland on May 10, 2023, with a welcome reception at 6:00 pm in the Bar area of our host hotel, Buswell Hotel, right in the heart of Dublin! 

12 hours of COPE accredited CE will be provided during our stay in Dublin. Continuing education will begin at 6:30 am and finish at 12:30 pm on May 11 and May 12, 2023. With this CE schedule, you have just about the entire day to enjoy the sights and sounds of Ireland. 

All of our CME is COPE accredited, co-sponsored by the Illinois College of Optometry and approved for Florida re-licensure by CE Broker. 

If you decide to rent a car on your last day in Dublin, getting around the countryside will be pretty straightforward. Waterford, Cork, Killarney, the ring of Kerry, Shannon, Limerick, Galway, Tullamore and back to Dublin is a great 4 or 5 day excursion. And of course there is golfing...all throughout the countryside. Did I mention Guiness? How about Jameson? Oh yeah....easy to visit.
